“We had plenty of troubles to deal with. I was banned from making films and we had a huge debt to pay… I started to make commercials. But because I couldn’t work under my name I was shooting using my husband’s name, Kučera. I was doing that for quite a while until the clients got fed up with my experiments. I was playing with the material, letting the sound stutter and so on. So they fired me.”
