“Appropriating diverse sources including the typographic characteristics of Jan Tschichold’s Die Neue Typographie (1928), the colour scheme of the UK’s National Car Parks, and a warning sign from Saville’s college workshop, it was designed to advertise the first four nights of the Factory club. Though it was delivered after the debut event, and only earned Saville £20, the poster laid the foundations of Factory’s design programme.”
