“We’d never really created anything from a zero-point. We’d always copied things: ‘We need a record cover; you’ve got ten minutes.’ Quotation, quotation; a bit of styling; stick that on. Whereas we were approaching this job in a more proper way, not just borrowing something to adapt, and it was difficult. We had three D&AD Awards, but we didn’t know how to do a letterhead.”
